Paula C. Beauregard is a Co-Founder and has held the position of Edge Velocity’s Chief Executive Officer since the company’s inception in 2004. As CEO, Paula oversees all business development, strategic alliances and overall management of the company.
Frank J. Knox
Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Frank co-founded Edge Velocity with a vision for establishing real-time, secure communications for use in the harshest environments in the world. He currently serves as the company’s CTO, where he oversees Edge Velocity’s strategic technology vision and direction.
VP Finance & Operations
John joined Edge in 2016 to help the team put in place the operational and financial protocols required to scale the business. John works at TPP to scale mid-market growing companies.
Sr. Systems Engineer
Michael Larson is a certified Systems Engineer with over 20 years experience designing and installing innovative IT solutions, Michael specializes in providing network systems design, installation and documentation.
Gerald D’Avolio, Jr.
Gerald D’Avolio has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1997 and was an Assistant Attorney General in the Regulated Industries Division (1998-2003). During his tenure as an Assistant Attorney General, Gerald worked on several high profile State and Federal cases.
Charlie joined the Edge Velocity team in 2015 to help build and execute our marketing strategy. He is the founder of the Guyer Group, which he formed to address the communications needs of technology companies.
Gerry Ronkin holds the position of Financial Controller for Edge Velocity. He is responsible for executing Edge Velocity’s financial strategy as well as all internal and external financial reporting. Working in close partnership with the office of the CEO, Gerry also oversees the creation of and adherence to financial policies, procedures and reporting systems designed to ensure accurate reporting on the progress of the business. With more than 25 years of public accounting and business experience, he has held several executive-level financial management roles throughout his career. Gerry has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk Law School.

Jill Wittels is a strategic advisor to Edge Velocity focused on helping the company achieve its strategic objectives. Wittels combines business acumen with deep domain expertise in the technology sector, which enables her to add value across operational, development and go-to-market functions within an organization. Among her many strengths, Wittels possesses un-rivaled expertise in the areas of operational effectiveness and executive mentorship.
Wittels currently serves as an advisor to several emerging technology companies, following an accomplished career in the technology and defense industries. Wittels served as the Chief Technologist at L-3 Communications where she managed a $400M R&D budget and was involved in more than 50 acquisitions. She also served as a board director for two businesses in which L-3 had ownership positions. Previously, she led the position of Vice President and General Manager for BAE Systems Infrared Imaging Systems where she helped lead the company through a transformational period resulting in a new era of growth and profitability.
Wittels was named an American Physical Society Congressional Fellow and served as an exchange scientist for the US Academy of Sciences.

Edna Conway, serves a Cisco’s Chief Security Officer, Global Value Chain. She drives her comprehensive security architecture throughout the third-party ecosystem for all Cisco solutions. Recognition of her leadership includes a Fed 100 Award, CSO of the Year Award at RSA, multiple Stevie Awards, multiple Golden Bridge Awards and Women of M2M Award.
A sought after advisor, Conway testified before the U.S. Presidential Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity, Defense Science Board, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She also serves on the Advisory Boards of ADP, SecurityScorecard, Black Duck Software, Edge Velocity and MassTLC.
Prior to Cisco, Conway was a partner in an international legal practice and served as New Hampshire’s Assistant Attorney General. She holds an AB from Columbia University, a law degree from the University of Virginia and additional academic credentials from MIT and Stanford and Carnegie Mellon Universities.
